This is a wiki-style page you can access information about anything
related to family history, just search for it in the wiki.
new.familysearch.org/en/static/help/pdf/usersguide.pdf This is the Users Guide for the new FamilySearch (PDF). A lot of useful info and tips.
pilot.familysearch.org This is the website to search through records to conduct original research on digitized records.
labs.familysearch.org
This is a website that has family history tools that are still in the
works that you can look at and use (like the family tree).
The only reason to access the old FamilySearch website at familysearch.org is to access the Family History Library to look for microfilms/books that aren't available on Record Search (pilot.familysearch.org) The link to the Family History Library search is below:

Access
to HeritageQuest is available with your library card in most cities. If
you have trouble, contact me and I'll help you out or copy the
information from the Family History Center.
Steps to access HeritageQuest:
1) Click This Link

You will have to enter a library card number and PIN (I use my
wauwatosa library card, free at the wauwatosa library, west allis cards
will not work)
3) Search any database available from HeritageQuest
